Merilynn Du Plessis holds a LLB Degree and is an admitted attorney with right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division, Pretoria. She further holds a certificate in commercial law through the University of Cape Town and has initiated studies in Company Secretarial Practice and/or Public Sector Governance through the Chartered Secretaries of Southern Africa.
Merilynn Du Plessis is a senior associate attorney with more than 10 years of experience in private practice. Merilynn started her career by doing 5 years of Practical legal training at Friedland Hart Solomon & Nicolson Attorneys in Pretoria and started her post-admission experience at MDT Attorneys in Midrand. She then joined Hahn & Hahn Attorneys in 2019 and now works alongside Jaco Hamman in providing clients with assistance, mainly in the following areas, but also in other various fields as requested by private clients:
